Hi everyone. Since my last post I finished my Cambodia leg in Phnom Penh, which was great. While there I vistited the Killing Fields where the Khmer Rouge slaughtered untold numbers of Cambodian people. It was quite a downer but also important to see to fully understand their plight. It's unbelievable that there was civil war there until 1998 and the international community didn't do...

Still bumming around Sicily. Met some nice people. Everyone here is so nive to me when they find out I'm from Australia.

So I've booked accomodation for the full moon party in Thailand on the 12th of July and I fly out of Europe from Amsterdam (third time) on the 2nd. I'm a little sad at the European dream being over but on the other...

Wow. I haven't updated in soooo long. Not since Poland I think. Well anyway I made my way to Lithuania after that which was quite nice, well at least Kaunas was. Vilnius was also pretty cool except all the drunk, rowdy English lads on stag nights have given English speakers a bad name so it made getting to know people a bit hard. The nightclubs...

Hey man thanks for the tips on traveling, would love to take off and do what youre doing.

If I do I plan on setting off for Christmas and traveling through Europe and then back to London to find some work in the New Year.

Yeah nazism isn't my thing, but their sense of the iconic is unmatched!

So, Krakow. Where do I start?

Krakow, in Poland is an amazing city. it has a population of 750'000 or thereabouts with about 135'000 students in 13 universities. Walking around the streets you'd believe that the holy grail was pumping water straight into the showers because the average age is so low.

Met a German girl studying here and spent a few days together. She...

I hope you mean the random girl, not my friend. oh well, you can have your (wrong) opinion cos she did sound hella wankery, thats what made it funny.

I loved Amsterdam. So laid back!

Can't wait to visit again ... one day.

Have fun in Turkey! If you bump into anyone else from Perth, ask if they work at an ISP

So I just arrived in Amsterdam. My flight yesterday out of Singapore was delayed overnight so I asked for a hotel at the airport. Apparently asking for a cheap hotel near the airport in Singapore translates to: "Find me the seediest hotel in the red light district please." I'd never seen a sink and toilet in a shower cubicle before...

So as soon as I...

...and things went alright for a few days. The house looked more empty than full, things had been organised, my car was ready to be imported back to the mainland... and then disaster struck. The gearbox in the BMW shat itself. And there's no one on the island qualified to diagnose it let alone fix it.

Have any idea how much a 6 speed automatic...

and still the excel takes more money, so I'm at the corssroads of whether i should go the loan and get a new vehicle.

incidentally its field hockey that's killing me now because of a long layoff forced by an injury sustained whilst playing ice hockey.

Sorry everyone. I'm on a deadline to get myself off the island and into Europe and am only now realising that closing the curtain on the last couple of years of my life isn't as easy as I'd first imagined. Please be patient and I promise I'll be regular in all your journals again.

Looking forward to the solar eclipse party in Turkey next month....

Overgrow.com was an online forum, well, THE online forum dedicated to growing. Besides being around for 4+ years and having the largest user base by far of any cannabis site, they had something called the GrowFAQ which is pretty much self explanitory. It's where I learned to grow, build growrooms, and picked up a lot of techniques you don't hear about in books.

The site got shut off a month ago, and there's been a ton of rumors as to what happened but nothing official has come up, its starting to look like there was some foul play between seed companies, owners trying to kill each other or something.

Great plants smile After overgrow went down I took all my plant pictures down from SG and everywhere, because the original story was that authorities siezed the server, and I had pictures from all my grows on there. Man, I wish I had room to grow outside like you tongue

As you may have seen on the news recently these West Papuan refugees are giving us a fair bit of work to do here on Christmas Island. I may have also been exposed to contagious disease but the company isn't going to acknowledge anything until I die. mad .

And my digital camera broke. mad

And I'm gonna miss the Big Day Out. For only the second...

yeah i tried smacking him in the head. it worked and now we're together. you know i'm kidding.
wow heard about the deadly diseases guy. i will miss you when you die. must say i'd have more sympathy if they came in the legal way instead of being queue jumpers. yes being someone waiting for family to get the approval to move countries makes you cynical. and they can't even complain of being victimised and racism'd against cos they're white! (my family i mean)
steven:
Bummer, on all fronts. Still you get a holiday biggrin
