Had an amazing time out with the girls last night... seems like you never know what is going to happen when the three of us get the chance to go out without the boys. But this morning I am remembering that I am not as young as I once was and that watching the sun come up is always a great time but only getting... Read More
This weekend was about as close to perfect you can get with out it being absolutely perfect. 2 bonfires, 1 wedding, 1 day on the river, great night of fireworks with cigars and vodka and to finish it off 18 holes of golf this morning before heading back to work.
After this kind of weekend I realized that working seriously interferes with my social life... Read More

realized today that Melissa means honey bee in greek... I know this is not a huge insight into anything but i found it funny as I was sucking on my last honey stick when I looked it up ... ok that's all of my randomness for today.
Ha, yesterday I almost did, my alarm was set for 5:30 and I slept through it 'til almost 8 and didn't get to work til 9:20. Wasn't one of those days, I was just a lazy ass. Luckily, no early meeting, I'm salary with flex-time and can just work late. Punching a clock is for suckers.
Have you ever plugged into your mp3 player and realized that of all the music you have on it there is not one single song you want to listen to at that moment... yup that's the kind of day I'm having. So guess it's time to find some new stuff...
Bad days indeed, the gloomy whether today didn't help today I'm sure.
Hey, I was up in Bay City this week. We took a schooner up to Saginaw Bay and back for a little excursion. Been to BC a few time for short trips. Bay City and Grand Rapids are both towns I'd like to do some more exploring in. You living up Bay City way, is there much to do up there in the evenings? Any bars with decent live local music, or good brew pubs?
Oh krunchBury Bay City is the land of bars, festivals and churches... there is a bar in every corner. As far as night life goes it depends on what you are looking for. bemo's tends to have pretty decent local bands every weekend.... malikey's has a drag show once a month and there is always something to find on Midland street. As far as brew pubs go we have Lumber baron's which I dont think its called that anymore but they have pretty good beer and a cigar bar in the basement. if you are looking for some good cigars there is a cute little shop down town that is always good for some great convos and amazing cigars. We had an art festival this weekend down by the river and there is something going on pretty much every weekend. River roar and pig gig are coming up as well as the tall ships fest and the big fourth of July fireworks.
