ack. i'll be incommunicado for a week plus as i venture forth to the wet and chilly beauty that is the pacific northwest. i hope to enjoy my first week of vacation in ages, with good company to share the spectacle, wonder, and newness of my oldness. i'm bringing a dv camera, and both these folk: katieh and LastEve have camera phones. Documentation shall be had by all.

i hope to see my good friend jlowe and pile on the envy, much deserved.

i can see the grandma unit and partake of her vehicle and coastal home.

i can revist old haunts, childhood spots and places of work and trauma all.

i can't wait, but i feel so very sad for several reasons.
