The beautiful @nanette tagged me on a new blog post to say 5 things I notice of others, t0 helps me learn more about myself.
1) Hands, I always try to sneak a look at a person's hand. Hands tell you so much about a person, do they work with their hands? Do they have callouses? Do they take care of their hands, moisturize/clean under the nails? If I hold that hand, is it soft/rough firm/relaxed grip?
2) Accent, I love accents and hearing how people speak depending on where they are from. There are a few things that I notice in particular about people in the city I live, mostly how that pronouce Toronto and Calgary. I'm not from this province, so it's fun to hear the differences.
3) Smile/Teeth, while I understand that orthodontics aren't necessarily things that everyone has had the luxury to have in life, I definitely notice someone with bad teeth/bad breath. I think crooked teeth can be extremely endearing, and I love to see someone show a big full smile and have "imperfect" teeth.
4) Do you pay attention, do you actually listen when I say something? If I tell you me favourite flower/colour/song etc, will you remember it? Not saying everything needs to be remembered, but it means a lot when months down the line things are remembered.
5) Eye contact, I often look at people to see if they look at me or away from me when talking. Especially on a first date, I notice if they look at my face or chest only. Sneaking a peak at my cleavage is great, but if that's all they look at then I lose interest.
