I could've ranted on here about stuff that is going on in my life, but really, it is trivial compared to what's going on in my country at the moment. 75% of one of our largest states in Australia has been affected by a massive flood, with other states following suit. Up to 40,000 homes in Queensland's capital city of Brisbane alone with 12 confirmed dead (so far) and 67 missing

In true Australian spirit, our Prime Minister's flood relief appeal has already raised some AU$35,000,000. Nice to live in a country where we still all help one another in tough times. I personally don't live near any of the flooding but the heart still breaks thinking of all the families that are currently surrounded by water.

This is just the start they say. Saw on the news there are sharks in the water. Think there expecting a cyclone within the next week.

That is terrible! However it is a good thing to know that your countrymen will give what they can to help the others out, great example of humanity doing what it should. I hope it works out soon for the people that are out of their homes! You and yours are in my thoughts for sure.
