Yeah, creationism is an embarrassment to intelligence and there are too many people who are extremely ignorant in regard to science. You are quite welcome on the comments! I dont say it strictly to be flattering, I do try to be somewhat unique with the comments I say. Everyone says "hot", "sexy".......while those may be nice to read I like to indicate that I see more than most others see. I should have been the one to know that it wasnt ol georgie simply because I recognized Randi and should have connected the two, oh well

I do try to be as genuine as possible and I appreciate you noticing that. Also, on the creationism thing....I am the only member of my family, including cousins and more distant relations, that accepts evolution...its quite disturbing...

the worse part about that is the deceit that is used. It is definitely opposed to the tenets of their faith (supposedly) to lie for jesus but that is the most commonly used tactic. The dover vs kitzmiller case from 2005 is one you should read up on if you are not already familiar. It is an amazing court case and one that set intelligent design back a long ways.
As far as god having a hand in it, fine, that seems unnecessary to me but if people want to believe that personally that is fine with me. Religion needs to be kept out of science class. I dont care who believes in the nonsense but just keep it where it belongs. In church, theology and religious philosophy class is where it should stay.

I guess the girls are too scared to lose what they consider a valuable asset? Strange, I know, but there seems to be this perceived element of 'risk' when going from friend to lover that some people just cannot comprehend taking.

Thanks Lili, appreciate the hugs . :-) Maybe one day some lucky lady will make me a lucky man but until then I refuse to change who I am. Not that anyone is suggesting that obviously. At the fellows we must remain as we are, one day it may happen and then we will have the best relationships among our peers. I think that is worth it, I refuse to let hope fade.

That party was quite amazing, aside from my blacking out, calling the bartender, (who I liked well enough when i was sober) a Homo, making fun of his tattoo, punching my buddy in the back as he was carrying me out of the bar, throwing up all over my future sister in-law's apartment. The crazy after effects of bachelor parties! No pun intended but your blog was quite sobering, makes most of the shit that I have been through seem pretty trivial.

My classes are going very well thus far although my chemistry lab on tuesday morning makes it very hard to wake up! However, my cultural anthropology professor, which is my last class of the day, is amazing! So that is a great way to end each day! When do you start school again? Seems like most schools should be started up by now.
Btw, how did the escape from the parents work? As it was the last I heard it seems like an escape was necessary. :-0

I always loved this God's plan bs too. Well if I don't get this in life its just god's plan. Religion is also a great scapegoat for our mistakes and shortcomings.

I like science, too. Although, science does heal what wounds science creates, too! After all, if it weren't for man's hatred for itself we wouldn't have the military applications for many of our technological breakthroughs to destroy in order to re-adapt for better use in healing and creating better lives!
I dig science and religion, I just don't dig the people that tend to abuse either for the wrong reasons. It is what it is I guess.
