I've been not very active as of late. I pop in now and again to see what's been going on but I spend less and less time online really these days. Things are going very well for me though. Sara and I have been together for almost 9 months and this marks my second longest relationship. Things are really good between us. I took her out for a fancy night of dinning at Baru 66 and it was fantastic. They have some of the best food I've ever tasted in my life and every bite was worth it. I plan to take there again in the future and can't recommend them more highly. We are getting an apartment together in August. It is both exciting and terrifying for me. It's cool that we'll have our own place together but I haven't lived with a girlfriend in over 12 years. None of my relationships ever made it that long. I've been practically living at her place for the last two months but it'll be slightly different once we have a lease in both our names. Does that make sense to anybody else? I guess it's just a big step and it's time i put my big kid pant back on. LOL!
Saw Hank III yet again a few months ago. It was a great show what I can remember of it. I didn't make it to the end as I got WAY too drunk and needed to go home and pass the fuck out. Sara and I are going to catch Reel Big Fish this Friday at Wooly's. I haven't seen them in a long while and they always put on a good fun show. We also got ourselves tickets to see the Henry Rollins on his Capitalism tour at Wooly's as well. I haven't seen him speak since his Provoked tour. Hopefully they will have some new spoken word albums available. What show am I most stoked about going to though? Riot Fest in Chicago! I finally get to see Iggy Pop and the Stooges! I can honestly say if i were to die in the pit while they play I can say I lived a full life. There are so many songs that I hope to hear get played by them. It's going to be an amazing music festival all around though. Dropkick Murphy's are playing as well along with NOFX (who Rubix has been telling me I need to see live forever), Reverend Horton Heat, Elvis Costello is another of the headliners for the show, Less Than Jake and so many more. It's going to be so fucking awesome.
That is all that springs to mind at the moment so I'll leave you with some killer tunes.
This is one of my favorite Henry Rollins story's.
