I really haven't been active on here as of late. I'll log in for a few minutes then log out. It could be that the weather has been so nice and I don't really want to be cooped up inside. So what is new in my wonderful life?

I think the buying of my house is going to have to wait for now. The more I start thinking things through on it I see myself up shits creek rather quickly with bills and what not. I think my best bet will be my previous plan to save and wait a few years to buy one. Who knows I may find myself my one "true love" in that time and things will be easier. LOL!

I got emailed a job opening with a large insurance company. If I can get it it'll be similar pay but way better benefits and the chance for a pay raise is always nice. We don't have yearly reviews or pay raises where I work currently. Their argument is that we get tons of OT and a $300 Christmas bonus each year and we should be grateful we get even that. And before anybody says union just know that the few times that has been brought up before where I work they've fired the person who's idea it was. With things as bad as they are I need my job more than I need to be unemployed again.

The Reverend Horton Heat is playing next week and I can't wait. As I've said before in this blog I've wanted to see this band for a while and kept missing out for one reason or another but not this time.

I am now a 100% certain I have the most adorable niece ever and have a pic to prove it.

I have been informed by my sister that Miss Norah has requested me and that I need to bring some of my movies, popcorn and ice cream to hang out this weekend. SO if I'm not working this weekend that'll be what I'm doing on Sat night vs going to the bar. I think we'll have more fun any way. I think I'll bring over my Studio Ghibli movies and I'll pick up some of those flavor powders for the popcorn.
