Yes, the little dears are now two weeks old, and here is a picture of the boys (one of which will be coming to live with us sometime in June). I must warn you; there is severe danger of cuteness overload here....
Aren't they adorable?
As for me, I am still recovering from my daughter's birthday tea. Not the main event, which is at the weekend (and thankfully doesn't involve our house). Just a small group of friends round for tea, that's all.
But, believe me, if the security services turned your house over looking for evidence of terrorist sympathies, they could not have done a more thorough job. The main culprit was the 18 month old baby. My God, I think she must have been on speed. One minute, she's trying to rip oil paintings off the wall, the next you're rugby tackling her before she dives into the pond. My wife and I were shell-shocked by the end of it.
I thought I'd have a quiet day's work to recover, but our poor mite has an infected cut in her foot, so she's at home with me, and I've had to take her to the doctor, play games and so on, and somehow assess depreciation levels of IT assets and attend teleconferences in the interim. Not the easiest of days. Bless her, she's bored out of her wits. Must be time for another game.
Love to everyone x
