I realized that I visit here on a nightly basis before bed. Get your minds out of the gutter...some people read books in bed, I am a bit of a geek, so I peruse the internet to let my eyes grow weary. Its a hard-knock life for me; not actually, but I must have internet.
The point is that I visit my FaceBook page, shop Amazon for Mac stuff that I do not need but want, and eventually wind up here. Admittedly, I have no tattoos for a few reasons that you need not know, one of which is that they would not look good on my skin tone; I do love them on other people, especially women. I love the aesthetic of olive, alabaster or any skin where the art has been chosen by the wearer and has meaning, be it deep or just amusing.
I am an artist, graphically speaking. My eye has been tuned to spot what is pleasing to my own gestalt and to also understand why things are appealing to the proverbial "masses." This is not to say that I am an art snob or have some sort of hierarchy of what is crap-to-profound, but instead hold an understanding of what is being visually communicated. I browse this site thinking "Good Lord, she is stunning!" but with the next thought being "Look at how her features play off of her awesome choice of hair colour, (etc.)" Of course I find the idea of most of these models being a mate to be an ideal scenario, beyond that, I begin to realize that this is a community on which I am on the outskirts.
Here is the rub: I would love to be a part of a community that matches my aesthetic-therefore, I need to begin interacting with its members! (Duh!)
I do not know why I never have really reached out on SG, I could postulate a number of reasons. But no one will know that one desires to communicate if they are silent; and with that, I am breaking my silence.
From here on, whatever I feel noteworthy to post on FaceBook, I will also post here and sometimes expand on the thought, hoping for your input. I am posting the odd things that I might find online as well. Some would say that I walk a strange path in my interests, so lace up. I am a communicator, a bookworm, a geek, and even a sailor in my pastall things that might come up. I have never had nor understood a blog before, alas, SG will be my maiden voyage. Communicate with me. Challenge me. Engage me...but in all of it, just be nice. I cannot wait to hear from you.
Cheers,
Lexxxicon
