Jean Paul is a master photographer and body painter. He is french but based out of California. I showed some of his work at a show I curated in Minneapolis in 2001. Just watched a really good tattoo movie, Tattoo Nation.
It focuses on the evolution of the chicano style of tattooing. what is now called black & grey. Great film for all you ink fanatics out there. You can watch the trailer here, youtube.

and it's actually a diamond, not a sapphire but i know i need to fill it in and stuff 
and there's no really significant meaning to the sapphire.. my grandmother's class ring was all gold with a big sapphire and i fell in love with from the first time i saw it . plus, they have such a pure, beautiful and sexy colour!
