This is gonna be a real tough, personal blog post for me, but I'm glad for it! Thanks for the topic @missy and @rambo ❤️
The most influential celebrity in my life was Robin Williams. My dad left around the same time that Mrs. Doubtfire came out on VHS and I remember just kind of adopting Robin Williams as my new father figure. I so sincerely wished I could have a dad like that, with that goofy humor and warm heart. Nowadays I have a pretty big Robin Williams DVD collection and have seen almost everything he's been in. I love his energy, his good nature, his desire to be positive for people when they're sad and he taught me my most important lesson -- just be good. Be good to everyone. Be good even to people who aren't good to you, you never know who needs that kindness. When he died, I sobbed. And I mean SOBBED. My boyfriend at the time probably thought I was being ridiculous. When I have the funds I'm planning on a small tattoo commemorating Mr. Williams, just to always remind me all the things I learned from watching him.
So that's it. Excuse me while I go cry haha 😖
