Okay... I have seen a few movies in the past few days, and here is my take on them..
1) Daywatch.....The sequel to Nightwatch, the battle between light and dark where the truce between the sides is in jeopardy of being broken. The Russians have a great way of making a small story much larger that life, with some really cool special effects. I thought it was great. And having seen Nightwatch, it was a great sequel. Thumbs up!!!!
2) An American Crime.....Set in the mid 1960's, a husband and wife relocate to a small town in Indianna, but they run a booth at a traveling carnival. They meet a woman who attends the local church, and decide to pay the woman to watch their teen daughters until they get back. Then things just go down hill. The story is based on actual events that took place, and the screenplay used court documents to write the story. You should really just watch it and form your own opinion. I thought it was good, messed up, but good.
And lastly:
3) Despicable me.....Great film! Hilarious and entertaining. The main character (voiced by Steve Carel) is a aging villian who wants to commit the worlds grates caper, and adopts some orphened girls to unknowingly help him. I totally enjoyed this film, and will most likely buy it.
There you have it....My reviews. Hope you enjoy. Not sure what I will watch tonight, so I will surprise you with it.
