So I've been officially chastised by the coolest chick I know to update this thang. Well, in the spirit of sharing insipid details with total strangers (plus one very cool chick), here goes:

When I got to feeling hungry today, I decided to go for a ride and grab a bite at my favorite spot: Kitch'n on Roscoe.

My first challenge was how to get there. I had two choices.



I thought about how cool I would look rolling down Damen in a pink Jeep but then I realized it would be all about the Jeep and no one would notice me, which is, I feel, the whole point of going for a jaunt. So I took the bike. It was tolerably chilly but look,



No frostbite!

I had a bowl of tortilla soup and a BLT. Fuckin' fan-fuckin'-tastic! So chewy, so salty, so crunchy! Now I'm well-sated. Ah!

I also enjoyed reading last weeks New Republic, specifically the editorial piece about how the Republican party has been imploding ever since the Meier's nomination. Sweet justice. Take that you fuckers!

Oh, and (from another jaunt entirely, this one with the jeep) here's my youngest enjoying some chocolate pancakes (or are they enjoying her...get it? AHAHAHAHAHA!!!).



And my oldest. Future SG? I think so!
