29 was a pretty screwy year for me, but 30 is shaping up to be top notch so far (as of day 1). I've actually been looking forward to being 30 for a long time now. It just seems like a good age to be.
I arrived in Winnipeg Thursday morning at 12:35 a.m. The flight was great! I met a cool chick who is a hair stylist, a guy from Vancouver who has a possible job prospect for me and one of the flight attendants was an old friend of mine from back home. As we exited the plane I could feel the chill from the Winnipeg wind.
I make fun of Winnipeg all the time!
I grew up there & I really don't have too many good things to say about it.
I'll there soon too! I get there xmas day.
Well, it was nice to catch up with you at sanctuary......Good luck on taking your former employers to the legal cleaners. have a safe flight....
Remember bad luck comes it threes and you've had your fill of bad.
P.S. do you know the name of the Asian guy with the black mowhawk that you were talking tonight? He seems knows me, but I can't recall his name and I feel shitty about it.
Today was the Secrete Santa lunch for my department joined with another department. We all ate nice expensive food, drank expensive wine, exchanged gifts and had desert. This was a nice way to say thank you for your hard work. I have to say the lunch was great and my Secret Santa gave me an excellent gift.
Last night I saw Echo & the Bunnymen play at a Vancouver venue called Richards on Richards. I have wanted to see them for years and I have to say I wasn't dissappointed.
"How old are you?" people will ask.
"30." I'll reply
"Ahh..." They'll say "that's a good age."
"I agree."
Then the snow weasels will attack.
