Started the new job on Monday. I've been in a hotel in Exeter, NH since Wednesday and I'm ready to go home now please. The job is uninteresting and unexciting but it'll pay the bills for a bit. A means to an end and I think I've finally figured out my end. I'm not in any hurry. I finally realized that my life isn't going to be over in 5 years or 10 years or even 20 (hopefully) so I've got time to do what I want to do. I just have to do it. No more "as soon as we have blah, blah, blah" because who knows if we'll ever get blah, blah, blah. I'm reading two books at the moment, The Art of Non-Conformity and Moonshine. Both are motivating me to go live the life I want and giving me a life compass to get there. Then a job posts for a retail associate and brewery tour guide at a local brewery and whammo I'm excited! The opportunity to do something I have value in while on my journey to the life I want would be amazing. My current job may not last as long as I thought but seriously I'm just happy to be working towards a goal I'm excited about. No matter how long the journey, I'm just happy to be making it.
