My god, could I be more bummed? My little sister is facing a second degree felony charge as of last night. She'll be 19 tomorrow.
It's just one of those things where you try so hard to 'help' in a sense, the one's you love through constructive criticism and life coaching, but they never actually 'hear' the words you say or live through your mistakes. I know that everyone must learn for themselves...
it just sucks when it's someone I care about so much...

I truly feel your pain. I've watched more of my "brothers" and shit get locked up for doing the stupidest things, even after I continually warned them or cautioned them and tried to sit down and talk to them and it through their head that they would end up in jail if they didn't clean the fuck up. Usually the first time someone gets in real bad trouble it's enough to keep them straight long enough for you to really get through to them. Then again, a lot of the time it has to be a conscious decision on their part to stop knocking off.
