I did some shooting today. My main goal was to test some new defensive ammo for my 1911. I was disappointed with the two new rounds I tried, Speer Gold Dot and Remington Golden Saber. Neither round could touch the Hornady XTP or Hornady TAP that I usually load. I'll be using the Gold Dot for a while until I can purchase some more Hornady ammo. I need to run some test with Corbon and Federal ammo when time and money permits.
