Good evening, everyone!
I hope you are all having a splending Thursday evening (if you're in CST U.S.) or day! I'm just excited that I get off work 1 hr early tomorrow for the Labor Day weekend. There is a big Midwest drifting event called Final Bout in WI. It should be fun from what I can see people posting on the social forums. We'll be heading out later in the evening.
Well, forever catching up on the HW assignments, lol. But, I definitely do enjoy them so thank you to @missy and @charmaine. Apologies beforehand if I seem to

4/11: Write about your favorite place you’ve traveled to.
Madrid, Spain...hands down FAVORITE place that I have traveled. Japan is up there, too, if not tied w/ Spain. I think it's b/c I traveled to Spain at the right age in my life. At the time, I was really getting into food and I LOVE wine. At the time, I didn't know much about the Spanish side of my family/heritage. So, you can definitely say that I was super excited. The plane ride was fun, actually not too bad.
There are so many things that I can say about my trip there. Downtown Madrid so many places to just relax outside and even some indoor places had markets where you can drink and eat, trying a bit of everything. My mother took my aunt and I to visit downtown areas, old historic castles and towns, and Valencia. I got to go on the Valencia F1 race track!!! We also went to see bull fights, which I was surprised that I enjoyed it quite a bit. They definitely don't waste the dead bulls. Each one is taken to get butchered and distributed to restaurants, etc. Spain is also where I developed the love for sitting in patio tables and drinking and eating. I think more food establishments here should adopt that. It's so relaxing.
One of my favorite memories is when a group of us went tapas + bar crawling in downtown Madrid. ERMAHGERD endless delicious food and CERVEZA! You bet I drank a bunch of sangria, too. :] The night life was so lively and wild. I'd love to go back there one day.
4/18: Something/someone you’re thankful for.
I am thankful for my boyfriend and the circle of friends that I have built around me. The past 4 years have been an interesting roller coaster w/ anxiety. It was just remnants of myself after a shitty relationship that ended prior to this one...long story short, I needed to find myself. I had realized that I didn't draw much anymore and often sat around doing nothing. My current boyfriend was always there to keep me grounded. He always surprised me w/ how he handled my little bits of rage and fits. To this day, he still does. I've learned a lot about myself through him and fortunately he's the type of person that attracts good people. By "good" I mean good vibes. It's just nice to have a circle of people who share that. I am thankful for all of those who continue to keep me leveled. <3
4/25: Write about your pet(s)!
We have 2 cats: my 8 yr old Mittens and my bf's 2 yr old Jenson. You may have seen Jenson photos here from my IG feed (@konekosan) . Straight up I LOVE THEM BOTH SO MUCH! (>^,^<) They truly are like kids to me. Crazy, sometimes I already imagine what it may be like when Mittens passes. *sniffles* I really shouldn't think about it. I have hopes, she is a pretty healthy cat. Jenson, I love him to death and is my boyfriend's cat. Jenson is such the cuddle bug and makes it almost impossible to get up and leave for work in the morning. Both of them together are my "peaceful spot" and they definitely make me feel like a cat mom.
Apologies, I really wanted to post pictures in this long ass blog so you at least get visuals lol so many words. But, the website is not working properly when I try to upload here. I did find some old, interesting photos on an old camera of mine. :D Since I get off work early tomorrow, I'll try to share some then before the weekend!
Good night, everyone.
