I've been watching the DEP stock trout in the river that runs through my backyard , and purely by accident a bucket or two fell into my pond , so I had to set up a broadcast feeder to keep those hatchery trout alive until they make it into my steamer The pond is still being slowly filled at this point , I have been stocking it with small shiners to get the pond's ecosystem going , this fall I plan to stock around 1000 bluegills , and in the spring of 2006 I will start stocking some bass . I have allready stocked a type of ornamental japanese carp which will control the weed and algae growth during the summer months and keep the water nice and clear . At this point I don't know if I can hold off untill opening day this Saturday , I keep walking back there and watching the fish surfacing , and I have not taken my fishing poles for a walk lately

I just ran some numbers right now and things are actually looking pretty good. I'd only need to get a total investment of like $100k or so to get it done (assuming the land itself was financed on monthly payments). I think I might even know someone for the third spot on the crew I want to put together - he's this guy I met last time I was up there. Some Mexican dude from the same part of San Antonio as me who knew a lot of the same people as me - I just happened to run into him at my sister's wedding. Crazy. Even crazier, he was the only Mexican I've met so far in Seattle, and he just happened to have grown up two miles from me.
