We were out roaming the streets on the sleds until 4:30 AM then slept until 2:00 PM , went on a seven mile hike up to Castle Craig in Hubbard Park , about half of the trip was through foot deep snow and I could barely lift my legs afterward . Oh well back to bed

I ain't too keen on eBay either, but that's something I'd only buy from a shop that does business on eBay, and then only one with very favorable ratings on that same product. On eBay there's a half dozen companies that sell only manual transmissions, and the prices range from buy it now at $800 - $1000. With a 500hp/600ft-lbs big block, I plan on spending about $800 a year on transmissions, depending on how hard I drive 'em . Seems like a reasonable expense, especially considering that the transmissions aren't made for the engine, and also the fact that after the initial install and everything is properly fitted (i.e. drive shaft) and the lines are setup right, I can change out the tranny itself in a day all by my lonesome.
