Yay! I can't wait to kick it. I'm going to be building a rather sick little entertainment system, so if you'd like to watch some flicks with great sound, it's going to be on. Hell yeah.

Don't be intimidated by the camera. It's mostly 1 button to get almost anywhere. I shoot in aperature priority most of the time and then just adjust fstop while shooting all day.

I also adjust "speed" as needed. There's sort of a hidden setting for getting the camera into "H," which is the 3200 speed setting that allows for sick night shooting in bars and such. Here's a good example...

I'll be back up around 3/31 to get into the house with MY keys and buy some appliances to get installed...fridge, washer/dryer combo, etc... I'll also hopefully get the construction started for the few things that are needed. Very exciting.
