Had a fun weekend...Went out into the country for some good driving and hiking- The Cibola National Forest is a pretty nifty place. Saw a guy driving a car that was burning so much oil that -initially -I was debating stopping with my fire extinguisher to put out the non exsistant flames..... Glad I was not driving behind him! 
The night life called to me once the sun had set and after the best damn Indian food for dinner I moseyed into the heart of Burque forThe oktober peoples non cd release party.... They are running a tad behind with recording so the cd wont be out until November! As usual they put on a great show! I also finally got to see the band Simple. Good stuff for the ears..reminded me a little of early Fury in the Slaughterhouse.
Got some more pictures...Really liked how the new ones of moi turned out but at night was not in "the zone" so not overly happy with the results but will post some anywho.
AS I was leaving the club to head out for the 1 1/2 hours drive home I heard "bang bang bang" Two car loads of people were shooting at each other right on the corner between the club and my car!!!! Holy crap!
I just missed being RIGHT next to them by like 1 or 2 min! To close for comfort ! I took a bad pic of the scene from the relative safetyof my ride.... The police were out in force AFTER the fact looking for shell casings. I guess someone was stabbed there as well... sheesh... I feel like I am living in the friggen wild west... I want to wear a Saloon girl dress!

paris, texas is one of my favourite films too. i think i liek most of wim wenders' movies but between that and wings of desire he just kind of hits a level of laconic sadness that's entirely beautiful.
