So, yesterday I was upset about trees (see the two May 3rd entries). I took pictures of the trees because I wanted to remember them.

I was upset because of the shade, but also because there is one tree outside my door that me & my son love so much & I was scared it was one of them that was being cut down. I tossed & turned this morning in bed thinking about it. I have sat on my porch many times & just watched this tree swaying in the breeze. This tree is amazingly beautiful when it has snow on it too.

The reason I thought more then the trees by the dumpster from yesterday were coming down was because, after they came down, everyone got this note on their doors:

"The tree cutters will be there tomorrow (5-4-06). No cars can be along S Drive or in parking lots because of the trees being taken out. Sorry for the inconvenience. ~M"

Which led me to believe that there were more trees coming down by the street. So, I moved my car to B Street late last night.

I woke up this morning... err... ummm... ok, really this afternoon *wink* & looked out my window expecting trees to be gone. All trees were there. They still are & it is 2:30pm. Everyone is parked in their normal places on S Drive & in the parking lots. Nothing happened & no one has moved their cars. Am I stupid or something?

So, I guess these supposed "trees" coming down on "5-4-06" had really came down on "5-3-06". *sigh* At least I hope they just had their days mixed up. I would think that if they were taking out trees today that they would be done, or at least started, by now. *crossesfingers*

I will be so be appreciating these trees. Even the ones I never think of. I so very much am thankful for these trees. *lovesigh*
