So the more I've been shooting the more I want a prime lens. I've been really trying to get good bokeh out of my 3.5 zoom lenses.....hahahaha. I know I could always fake it in PS BUT I'm a stubborn purist.
I thought about getting a 2.8 zoom of some sort so I wouldn't be getting a "unitasker". Shaaaaaa anything decent is more then I can afford. So, I guess it's fixed for me.
Now I have 2 dilemmas...
1. What should I get? I've used a 50mm prime in the past but I wonder if a 85mm will be better for me. My main reason for wanting the lens in the first place is bokeh on portrait. The second is for low light. Should the focal length make much a difference for my wants? I can always crop, right? I was thinking about either the 85 1.8D or 50 1.8D.
2. How do I convince my husband to allow me to get another lens?
Hmmmmmmm

I am lucky I don't have to convince my husband to get anything as i am the one that does the budget and he just agrees with me

I only have two lenses for my current camera, but they are super nice. Quality over quantity for sure.
