The camera, it has arrived. I'm now a camera owner. Yay for me!
Unfortunately, I'm feeling kind of poopy right now, for reasons that I won't specify, but aren't lasting in any way, shape, or form. It's just a physical poopy-ness-feeling, and it will pass shortly. It just means that I'm not inspired to really do much right now, even playing with my new special thing. I plan on Friday to make a trip to the SDSU campus, and to McCrory Gardens. Fall on the SDSU campus is just lovely, and I'd like to figure out stuff on trees and things. They're patient photo subjects, quite unlike the Boxelder bug that's invaded my computer room and even now continually thwarts my attempts to capture its image. Bastard.
In other news, life continues on unabated. I feel a bit at odds with myself at the moment, because lately I've been feeling a very strong urge to get back into World of Warcraft. I have my own credit card now (well... debit card, anyway) which means I can have my own account, and I can afford the fee. Perhaps once the play is done - I may feel as though I have more time to devote to a game then. Right now it's been Puzzle Pirates for me. The puzzles are nice ways to kill a few random hours here and there, plus I'm turning out to be pretty good at Blacksmithing! WoW is a nice way to kill several hours at a time on any given day, which is a time commitment I just can't afford at the moment. Or at least, I don't think I can. I can't convince myself I can.
Regardless, I miss my Aarlone, and Grimylumps, and Erisqala, and all the other characters I'd created. There was a time when I'd intended to try every race, and every class; I'd still like to do that. It was fun to play when I had the time to devote to it. So maybe in November I'll start up an account and get some server recommendations from you folks.
In work-related news, I may be learning to drive the forklifts tomorrow. I'm pretty stoked. Forklifts are cool, and I feel pretty useless when there's a lot of forklift work to be done, and not much of other stuff. Plus it will be a great thing to have on a resume, experience with those machines. My department is in sort of a slow season at the moment anyway, so it'd be nice to learn now.
I have a hotpad on my tummy, and it is making life so nice right now. And hey, tomorrow is payday, and then it's the weekend, where I have no obligations but to work on play stuff. From where I'm sitting, life doesn't look too bad at all!

Unfortunately I don't know anyone with a pomeranian...or I would be all over it. For accessories I think I'm going with a bowling ball, pistol, and coffee can full of Donny's ashes
