People seem to like it when I post photos here, so here you go. Pow:
Nennie took that a few days ago, and I rather like it. It's very much me, when I'm not being all naked and stuff.
Things are really starting to get strained at work. A number of my coworkers will be going home for the long holiday break because they'll be kicked out of the dorms and have nowhere else to go, so either the boss is hiring temporary workers, or the rest of us are pulling some nasty shifts, and getting a shit tonne of overtime. Somehow, I think the latter is a bit more likely, and it's not something I'm uber excited about. You know what? I could stand to cut and run at this point. Ah, you crazy bills, forcing me to be all responsible and shit...
There are a number of things I like about wintertime. This is a good thing, because South Dakota has fuck off long winters. Like, half the year fuck off long. What am I enjoying right now? I'll tell you.
My leather trenchcoat. I feel so badass, even when I'm sweeping the parking lot where I work.
Apple cider. It's like heaven, only in my tummy, and without those pesky god and jesus fellahs.
Piles of blankets on my bed. It feels all comfy to be all weighed down at night by my blankets.
Crocheting. I only know one stitch, but I do it really really well, and I like to just sit and watch tv and let my hands go. Plus, I make blankets which go on my bed, or make my favorite people happy when they recieve them as gifts.
Tea. Tea always rocks.
Baking. It's always fun to see the look on my Nennie's face when she walks in the door after work and finding out I made the apartment smell like cookies, or apple crisp. Seriously, no one who has tasted my apple crisp can resist me. ... Ok, I may be stretching a point, but it is good.
Snow. No, seriously. It's a pain in the ass to drive in, but I have long believed that having snow around actually softens somehow the biting, bitter wind that howls across the South Dakota plain. Snow isn't so bad, compared to the wind, and it looks pretty, and is fun to frolic in.
Baths. I could take two or three every day during the winter. When I was paying for my own utilities, I totally would.
Cuddling. Cuddling always rocks, but nothing beats the cold like a warm body trying to completely meld with my own.
George's Pizza. One of these days, I'm going to make an entry at the Local page and just go on a tear about how George's Pizza is the best you can get in South Dakota, or maybe the midwest, or maybe EVAR! And after a night drinking, and standing in line for that tasty tasty pizza, that first bite... ZOMG!
Videogames. Is it just me, or does it feel more satisfying to game when the weather's all shitty? It's like, "Fuck you, I didn't want to go outside anyway! Pow, take that zombies!"
There's lots more, but I'm totally focused on my apple cider right now. ♥s to everybunny!

So I'm playing catch up now, I know. But I had to tell you, for like 15 seconds I though Crocheting was Crotch-e-ting and I had this really great image in my mind. Oh well
