Due to uncertainties about when I'd get paid next (new term, just deferred scholarship) I missed the Rise Against gig last night- which while disappointing I've managed to put out of my mind by buying tickets to 2 other gigs- Kaiser Chiefs, and Van She + The Presets. Yay! Not really equivalent genres, but anything that's loud and out of the house, I'll go to and jump around to a bit ![biggrin](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/biggrin.b730b6165809.gif)
Currently lying in bed with the kitten, enjoying an extremely lazy Saturday, perhaps with a movie lined up later...
The only frustrating part of this morning was getting a rejection email for a job I applied for months ago. It wouldn't have been such a drama if (a) they'd responded to any of the queries I raised in the initial application email, or even sent a "yes we got your application" note and (b) hadn't set up the rejection context where it's clear they hit "reply" to my original message, then cut and pasted in a mass produced rejection reason, which doesn't actually apply to me- the implication was that I don't have any experience with capture and restraint of fur seals, which is what I've spent the last 2 years doing! I'd have been less pissed off with a generic reply that DIDN'T mention why I wasn't suitable- I could take that and move on, but the fact that I got a bullshit response that was highly inappropriate made me see red, so I fired back a short note about how they could improve their recruitment processes re etiquette, and that if people bother to write a personalized cover letter and CV for them, the least they could do is make sure the rejection reason is reasonable.... GRRRRRRRRR.
TIme for more kitten snuggles

In regard to your comment about having kids, I'm not totally against the idea myself, but just not yet... I am a bit worried I might feel really restricted and miss my freedom a lot though lol, and I think it would mean doing very little musical stuff for a few years.
Bad luck about the job! Hopefully you'll find something better instead anyway
