I spoke to an old friend of mine today and we had one of our famous 2 hour long conversations which basically entail him talking about everything in his life and me sitting there going "oh really" "uh-huh" "that's cool" etc. Don't get me wrong, I love the guy to death but ,Christ, can he talk yer ear off!!! Then again, his life is this crazy whirlwind of insanity and I couldn't even compare my stories with him. He is constantly getting into trouble with the law, going on benders with famous rockstars, scoring drugs for famous porn stars, you name it the dude has done it!
I was so sad to find out from him that a friend of ours from back in the day is now HIV positive. That really made me think about all the crazy shit we used to do and be into and all I could think was that it could have been any of us.....it really could have been ME. I have truly mellowed out over the years and ,thankfully, never had to have something that devastating to be the reason to change my ways. I'm just very sad right now and I only hope that everything will be okay for him.....

this friend of yours sounds like he my travel in the same circles as me. i've had more than my fair share of brushes with the law and have scored drugs with and for more than a few porn stars. haven't really done the whole rockstar bender thing but i've backed my way out of a few hip-hop orgies.

well being honest is a lot harder than most people think, it's hard to say that you like poeple with feeling exposesed for example, but it can get a lof to tention out of the way if you do it right
