wow, way too long for a journal entry. since i was at SGPGH and met all these people, i feel obligated to put up something new and fresh for them to see, so we can pretend that i update this thing every day.
regarding my stuff from last post: the job turned out to be a bust, no call back - the band demo is still done and songs can be checked out on our my space page - and my artist's block has been worked through. hooray.
also, the newest stab!stab!stab! music video should be finished this afternoon. hooray!
so the SGPGH hell-oween party was quite sweet. i was wondering if as many people would show up this year since it was out of downtown pittsburgh, but they came out in droves. it was a much better atmosphere this year than trying to share the stage with goth night at laga (RIP). destro did an amazing job setting it up. good tunes, good food (i love cookies), and a really quality hotel all made for lots of fun. i feel that i am quite out of touch with the current SGPGH kids, so i didn't see many familiar faces. ghoulish and norrit are my boyz, so it was good to see them. marlynn showed up with her boyfriend, who i used to play in a band with, and they brought two of the other members from that old band (who i haven't seen in like 5 years), so that was a pretty pleasant surprise getting to catch up with them.
the highlight of course was alexis coming out to chill - i hadn't seen her in like a billion years, so we hung out most of the night and talked about all sorts of good stuff. also watched about 18 hours of family guy.
oh yeah, i have cancer. it's nothing big, non-spreading, and easily removed, but cancer nonetheless. for those of you that don't know, cancer is easily the funniest illness that you can sustain, topping the chlamydia scare that myself and a couple friends went through earlier in the year. lots of calls of, "eww, don't get your tumor on me" and, "well zombies would never eat your brains, because you have cancer". i guess you can either be freaked out by it or laugh at it, and i would much rather do the latter. my roommate's mom made me a cake, too, cause she felt bad. lesson: cancer gets you cake.
ok, well on that note, i'm done. it was a pleasure meeting everyone last night, and i hope to see pics from the whole ordeal soon.
