woo hoo, the triumphant return of the updated journal.
iamsally just joined up, and that is the aformentioned girlfriend. everyone can go fight her.
so i went to new york with mike drew...anyone remember mykdru? anyway, we went up to NYC for him to get his tattoo worked on at last rites studio by tim kern.....pretty awesome shop with crazy stuff all over the walls. apparently i saw paul booth, but i didn't know it was him. i walked through his studio to use the toilet though.
new york was the coldest thing imaginable. like i honestly don't know how people survive that. coldest place EVER. we did dumb touristy things like go to the top of the empire state building (somehow managed to be COLDER up there and it cost $11). still a good time, i looked at fashionable clothes, ate a shit load of food at various places, mastered the subway (didn't see any rats though) and hung out at a toys r' us with a ferris wheel in it. an enjoyable weekend all around. stopped back in NJ to visit mike's family, and then drove home just in time for that wonderful blizzard that pittsburgh got hit with.
so the band finished it's demo finally. you can stream the songs here. as always let me know what you think.
anyone want to book a hardcore band? we're up for playing anywhere...
