So I was talking with @lucerne and some anime shows came up and skip to the end... Here's a list in no particular order for her and the rest of you; some old, some new, some more adult and scary and some more childish and silly. I hope you enjoy at least one of them :)
1) 
Looks like a harem, FEELS like a harem, wait it's not a harem?
No, this anime starts off looking cliche, then it turns your world upside down. This is a time travel MASTERPIECE.
2)
Black Lagoon includes a considerable amount of graphic violence, often involving violent gun fights and spectacular physical feats in battle.
The story follows a team of pirates/mercenaries known as Lagoon Company, that smuggles goods in and around the seas of Southeast Asia in the early to mid 1990s.

The series takes place in the near-future and focuses on various virtual reality MMORPG worlds.
The story starts with people logging in to SAO for the first time, and being informed that they can't log out until they complete the game
If you die in the game you die in real life, there is no escape
4)
Four Japanese high school girls join the light music club of Sakuragoaka Girl's High School to try to save it from being disbanded.
The main characters are members of the band, Ho-kago Tea Time (After School Tea-time)
Really it's just a kinda cute adorable show :p

Lucky Star's story mainly portrays the lives of four Japanese girls attending a Japanese high school.
The main character is Konata Izumi, a lazy girl who constantly blows off her schoolwork and homework,
and instead uses most of her time to watch anime, play video games, and read manga.
I do love Konata she's awesome and her hair <3 You must watch it allll

Brain Burst, a secret program that is able to accelerate the human cognitive process to the point at which time appears to stop.
Brain Burst is more than just a program, but a Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online (VRMMO)
Fighting Game where people fight each other in fierce duels in order to obtain Burst Points
which can be expended for acceleration abilities in the real world.

Kinji Tōyama is a student at Tokyo Butei High, a universal educational facility.
Butei - a national qualification permitting its holders to possess various weapons and capture criminals.
Shortly after Kinji decides to quit the Academy due to personal reasons, he is attacked by the Butei Killer
elite Butei Assault prodigy Aria H. Kanzaki comes to his rescue and from that moment on, Kinji's future as a Butei changes drastically

The story starts with Oga telling his best friend, Takayuki Furuichi, the strange story of how he found a baby.
One day while doing 'laundry' by the river, Oga saw a man floating downstream.
Oga pulled him to shore but the man split in half, revealing a baby boy inside.
This baby turned out to be the son of the great demon king, and Oga has been chosen as the one to raise him, along with the baby's maid, Hilda.
The manga follows Oga's life as he tries to raise the child while enrolled at Ishiyama High.

Basically the zombies have come, everyone who survived only has short skirts and big boobs and giant guns
Apart from 2 guys and some other people who die like the red shirt guy in star trek
It's awesome silly and has a stupid amount of fan service... Enjoy
So that's about it for now, although I do have a few points to make about all these amazing anime :p
● Sword Art Online & Accel world are great as anime but so much better in the original light novel form. I do have them as light novels so if someone wants some great books to read let me know and I'll upload them.
● Hidan no Aria, also better as a light novel mainly because it is really long and I feel like the anime doesn't do it justice in such a short series
● Beelzebub & Deadman Wonderland are amazing anime and if you are left wanting more definitely worth going to read the manga
● I was going to put "Gantz" on this list but I wasn't sure how it would go down as it can be kinda hit and miss with people so maybe next time :p
