@fredhincanada tagged me that music questionnaire that’s been floating around, so here are my answers!
- Favorite Band/Artist
Surprise surprise - it’s Rilo Kiley and Jenny Lewis. Just saw her in September when she was on tour for the Postal Service/ Death Cab tour!
- Favorite Song (all time or recent)?
One of my favorite songs of all time is “Street Hassle” by Lou Reed. It’s 11 minutes long and perfect for a late night drive home.
- Favorite Album?
Hmmm… let’s go with BlackOut by Britney Spears lol 😂
- First Concert?
In 2001, my best friends and I went to see Orgy in Worchester, Massachusetts. In my full time job, a question we are asked a lot as an ice breaker is “who was your first concert?” DO YOU KNOW HOW EMBARASSING IT IS TO SAY ORGY IN A PROFESSIONAL SETTING?
- Last Concert You Went To?
I just worked a latin show, Maria Jose, but the last concert I paid for was Death Cab and Postal Service. Usually, I get paid to go to concerts 😉
- Favorite Concert?
Favorite concert I’ve ever worked - Carly Rae Jepsen because it was so happy or Flaming Lips because I was so happy
Favorite concert I ever went to? Jenny Lewis in the OC in 2015.
- Who do you wish you could see live?
Fleetwood Mac or Stevie Nicks. Pretty sure Fleetwood Mac won’t ever tour again.
- What music did you grow up with?
Lots of Elton John, Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac, Phil Collins. When my brother hit high school I got into Smashing Pumpkins, Green Day, No Doubt, all those 90s bands.
- How do you find new music?
Random Spotify playlists and new artists coming through my city/venue.
- How do you listen to music?
At ultimate volume in the car.
- Any new albums you’re looking forward to?
IDK
- Favorite movie soundtrack?
OMG. Romeo and Juliet from the 90s. Almost Famous. Velvet Goldmine. Queen of the Damned.
- Last one, for fun: Do you like to sing when you listen to music?
Yes. Loudly.
I’m not gonna tag anyone… but please let me know if you fill out your own blog!!

If I had a nickel for every time I’ve said “Orgy” in a professional setting… lol. And Queen of the Damned is a fantastic soundtrack!
