alright my tender lumplings, my fellow pervs and poets, beloved unmet friends, beautiful ladies and handsome gents...it has come to that time in every writer's life when he must contemplate self-publication.

this is not, yet, for my poetry (though a certain devious plan in that vein is slowly but surely taking shape in my dank, dark little basement of a brain), but for my erotica....

Don't ask me why, but I felt compelled to do a survey. What the hell is their weird fascination? My apologies.

001. Would you kiss the last person you kissed again? Indeed. Gave up on the 'kissing the wrong person' thing a while back.

002. Do your jeans have rips, tears, and holes in them? Yep. You always love the ones you hurt.

003. What...

Already up: "Daddy's Boy" at Divine Miss ValCapone's webzine, and a new smutty story called "The Angel" in the Filthy Dirty Smutty Storytime group.

Coming soon: "I discover i is an android" at Shampoo, daily zen-like lotus blossoms at DailyHaiku (I'll be one of the cycle of featured poets here...

So, as most of you who read my blogs know, I rarely venture into the realms of my personal life, but I think it's high time for a little change of pace!

First of all, I'd like to thank all of you who do read my poems and comment on my work. As a contemporary poet, it's often easy to feel that poetry is a...

Well in that case maybe I shouldn't meet her biggrin

I hate the top five friends thing; can never choose. Never wanted to anyway. Wish it would go away. ooo aaa

asistid:
Yeah, I think I'm just gushy in general. It's a good thing - better than being repressed.
Besides, you live in Berkeley - isn't it a requirement that you be sensitive and in-tune with your feelings? (Or have all the hippies gone away?)

narrow is the cloth

the whole day until
we are not come to the cave
you'd be asking where
tell you that now, come the cave

and storms; trees giving
feet clogged in dew-...

this, my poet-friends and fellow-readers, is a piece I need some help with. I think the content is very strong, but I'm very unsure of the order and progression of stanzas. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd welcome them:

Filthy with eyes as dull as the ashes of snuffed cigars

Filthy still naked leapt out of bed
one day, scratching herself, found the hole and...

huck:
weeell, a large fraction of my poems are about women/romance/sex, i suppose, and one of them (Born Too Soon) was featured in the recent BHM World Poetry Day thing, as you know, but any smut is incidental, and it's not necessarily something you guys should be wasting a review on. still, i would be honoured! and i imagine you would be productively honest, too.

in my mind, "cull" is forever associated with "the culling of the masses", for some stupid reason. it is a fine word, tho, and i should be less neurotic. wink

what's the problem with the above piece, for you? my "complaint" would be that i balk at the sight of such a long piece, but that's just my laziness, and some guys (O'Hara, for example) do epics very well. have you thought about chopping it up? reportioning it, so to speak? or you could balance out the stanzas, arrange them into four or five bigger blocks, like a series of heavy punches. then again, it is very good as it is.

You made me smile... biggrin
