this was a fun weekend. i went to a driving range for the first time, and though i wasn't very good, i didn't suck either. it seems that playing golf is much for fun than watching golf. i got my first sunburn of the season as well.
then i put together my very first roleplaying character for a SW game the boythingy is running. i won't be north enough to be a proper player, but when i'm in town i'll do my best.
speaking of the boythingy, we had a good weekend. we're discovering that we have enough common interests to be able to enjoy each others' company in a solely friendly way. (our relationship wasn't based on a pre-existing friendship. we just sort of jumped into the romantic stuff and skipped all the rest.)
um. yup. that's about it.

British uni- a 1st is "bloody good".
For some reason you get upper and lower 2nds:
a 2.1 is, "well done, you've made an effort,"
and a 2.2 is, "well, at least you've turned up to your lectures".
A 3rd is, "well, you registered for your course and put your name on all the exam papers- here's a grade"
It honestly staggers me that people manage to fail a year at uni here...
Edited because it didn't look tidy enough!
