Also: The Sims 2 Pets is finally here.
If you aren't aware of the fact, I've owned and loved every version of The Sims since its creation (save The Sims Online, which I wisely passed over for what Kestrel would call "extreme blowosity").

However, The Sims 2 Pets completely rocked my fucking world in the bird department. Of their five bird selections, four are obvious: the generic cockatoo, macaw, grey, and lori. The fifth? Even better than my sweetheart, the sun conure, it's...

Don't know if you saw my post a few back. The Johnny Vatos tribute to Halloween (or as he called it 'the tribute to Oingo fucking Boingo') featuring everyone but Danny was quite awesome this year. They played the 'Only a Lad' album in its entirety. In addition to the horn section, a string quartet! Sounded amazing. They're doing it again next October. I'd recommend planning a sojourn. skull smile
