What could he possibly do that you wouldn't defend him to the death over?
I can't believe some of the things I've seen people defend him for. I've even seen people defend his environmental record, for Christ's sakes!
It's so bad that I swear he could come on TV and sacrifice fifty puppies while wearing a satanic priest's robe, and people would still defend him. "Well, they were awfully naughty puppies." "I heard John Kerry eats babies" "Compared to Vlad the Impaler, this is nothing to be upset about." "I can't believe you whiny liberal pussies favor little puppies over the President. Don't you support our troops?"
I've said that (almost) no matter what Kerry does, I'm going to vote for him. Not that no matter what he does, I'm going to defend him.

actually, Ted Rall asked the same thing of Republicans on his blog. Only one said there was *anything* that would make them vote against him, and that was something like if he were criminally insane. I guess they meant officially so.
