So, I was working today, and I started to daydream a little. The boredom of it often fosters the brain's tendency to wander a wee bit, heh. I started to list off things that I enjoy that I don't do anymore 'cuz being an adult gets in the way.

I am going to be in Minneapolis, MN for a few days next month. December 17th through the 19th. Technically the 16th through the 20th, but those are days where I will either be getting on and/or off an airplane, and y'all don't want to see how angry a Kav can get when she has to travel. It's no good.
I'm a total dweeb, but has anyone seen that Levi jeans commercial that features Walt Whitman's poem "Pioneers O Pioneers" in it? That poem is amazing. I don't care what the poem's true intent was (considering Whitman wrote it, I'm sure it's about socialism, but also I've read that's about the Civil War, so who knows). It's a fucking inspiring poem.
I have been working 13 hour days at my ridiculous factory. And I've been facing some new and icky health issues as of late. Sorry for the inactivity. Love y'all.
Let me know if you're ever in the Bay Area (or somewhere in Northern California) and photography could ensue.
Meanwhile I think I'm too testosterone challenged for Guy Games. I'd play Sims 3 except it's from EA and it took me a while to undo the damage that the plain old Spore demo did to my computer. I played Sims 2 for quite a while on a Mac and was looking forward to playing it on my PC a few years later with a zillion expansion packs ... bought it ... observed that I had just bought the evil DRMed version ... never installed it. Oh well, I've wasted $50 on worse things.
I've been to Wisconsin a few times various times of the year (except for the warm ones) and lived in Fairbanks for 2 winters and own a car with a 3-prong plug coming out from under its bumper so ... I get it. Actually I really liked it in Fairbanks, and I liked it the most during the winter. Feature 1: No mosquitos. Feature 2: Auroras.
I can't stand the way people are raising their kids these days.
From experience, I know that had I been brought up like children are today, I'd be an entirely different person, one that I probably wouldn't like. I come from an old school variety of parenting. When a certain age passed, my mom and dad didn't comfort me anymore. The phrases "walk it off"... Read More
Some parents drive me absolutely nuts.
I just want to tell them 'you know, you're ruining your child' or 'holy fuck; ever heard of manners?'
It's ridiculous.
It's so amazing when I see a well-behaved child.
Precious.
