Isnt she just preeeety?
And come Mon she is all mine. This means a myriad of good things, including that if all else fails, I can sleep in the car until a home and $$ comes through.
She has her issues, wrinkled hood, no backseat, floor mats gone, AC is out, ect. But all of it is basically cosmetic and can be fixed over time. And hells, I needed to learn cars anyway. Worst part is the loud fuckin souped-up exhaust system--that is first to go. Its one of those noisy testosterone rides--I hate that. Much as I try to get away from it, I am thoroughly a cat, and the need for speed and stealth is a huge part of that. So I'm going to do something about that ASAP.
I have a car!! *cheers*
In other news, the friend I just pissed off beyond belief I IMed today with no hope of response, just letting him know I got a car, and keeping a promise I made of a link. I didnt care really if he respnded, and expected to be ignored.
He comes back and offers to drive me out Mon to pick up the car. You know, the friend who knew previously I was leaving on Sun, maybe forever, but couldnt make time free until Tues?
I cant figure if I should take him up on it or not. Glad he offered, but ultimately, it changes nothing unless he's willing to meet me some form of halfway, ya know? And is this his attempt to try? Or something else? Or what?
*grimaces* If I ever had a quarter of a clue what was going on, maybe I'd be better able to choose how to fix it, ya know?
Would you take him up on it?
