i am a girl from central canada living on the west coast like a crazy person. i'm not sure that anyone can ever really make that transition smoothly. it's different here, people don't laugh as much, cry as much, yell as much or talk about real things much at all. there is no pace, only waltzing. i'm not sure happy is the word i would use to desribe how i feel about this place. maybe neutral. it's like being in awe but more somber.
