update:
just before the con my luggage was lost/stolen. so I didnt get to wear any of those awesome costumes I had so arduously planned and worked on. I wound up running home and packing some stuff I had around my room... here are a few of the costumes I was able to throw together:


my burlesque outfit, which I had decided against for con because of my incredible amount of costumes. I was able to do it though, when I lost all of those.

a revamped Jem, my dress was packed separately and wasn't lost (but the wig was, so I had to buy a new one)


this adorable dress I had, with a nifty hat


and eventually I got tired of trying to figure stuff out and just put on some white underwear/bra and a tux shirt. it was comfy and still somehow cute...
