Here's wishing everyone who reads this (and especially my friends on here, you know who you are!) a wonderful holiday season, whichever way you celebrate it (and even if you don't).
My own Christmas is overshadowed by the death of my father-in-law just a few weeks ago, as well as by the prospect of another Covid Christmas. I'm something of an outlier in that I'm not a huge fan of family get-togethers in general and of Christmas in particular. But as the generation ahead of me is slowly beginning to fade away, the holidays are a chance to see the old folks again, and these days you never know if this will be the last Christmas with everyone present and accounted for.
So, happy holidays, everyone and be patient and kind to one another even if the holidays do turn out be somewhat stressful on occasion.
