Gee, @ferkixlll nominated me, so I guess I'll have to... here go 20 questions and my less-than-spectacular (but honest) answers:
1. What food do you crave most often?
I don't really crave any food, being of the "we eat to live, not live to eat" school. That said, I have to admit to a craving for potato chips (strictly Lay's for me) every now and then. I envy the Americans their range of taste choices; of the few available here, I like Sour Cream and Black Pepper best. In fact, let's have some right now...
2.Can you swim?
Let's say I manage to stay above the water line, but it's not elegant to look at.
3. Can you whistle?
Yes, not on two fingers though.
4. Home on a beach or in the mountains?
It's always been the beach (or the coast) for me, but I've begin to appreciate the mountains as well.
5. Hotdogs or Hamburgers?
Neither, but in a pinch I'd go for a burger.
6. Shower or tub?
99.9% of the time I shower, but once in a great long while I enjoy soaking in a bubble bath.
7. How many TVs are in your house?
Just one.
8. Do you own a gun? If yes why do you own a gun?
Don't own one, don't see a need to have one. Also, they make it extremely hard for you to get one around here, legally, that is.
9. Favorite type of food?
Impossible to name just one here. Italian is my go-to category, but Asian cuisines, especially Thai, are wonderful as well.
10. Favorite hobbies?
Reading, going for longish walks, watching movies, SG (is that even a hobby?)
11. Favorite time of year?
I prefer the more moderate seasons, especially the Autumn - Spring is marred by pollen, Summer is getting too hot for me these days, and Winter can be a sorry muddy slog.
12. Favorite drink in the morning?
My day starts with a double Espresso, brewed the Italian way, and water.
13. Favorite outdoors activities?
Going for walks in parks is about all the outdoorsy stuff I do.
14. 3 Favorite drinks?
I love tea, and by tea I mean freshly brewed, strong black tea like Assam. I do drink wine, mostly whites like Chardonnay and Riesling, and preferably Italian, as well as the occasional beer or Pepsi. And my absolute alcoholic weakness is Sambuca, an Italian (yes, again) anise liqueur.
15. 3 Things I love?
Books, squirrels, sleep.
16. Do I have a crush?
I crush constantly and easily, be it the Goddesses of SG, the lady cashier at the grocery store, or a random girl walking by.
17. 4 turn on's.
Kindness, humor, civility, gracefulness.
18. 4 turn offs.
Cruelty, dishonesty, littering, arrogance.
19. How I feel right now
Happy and relieved that the day's chores (including this questionnaire) are now over and done with, and I can put my feet up. Also a little more optimistic that we will weather the pandemic (while still sad for all the pain and loss it's caused).
20. My current relationship status.
Married.
