Hi! Lately, I've mostly been lurking on the site, dropping some love here and there on deserving sets, but staying mostly silent. Life had a way of intervening whenever I briefly felt the urge to blog. But the month of May, at least here in Germany, is a friendly month, with several national holidays conveniently placed on Thursday or Tuesdays, giving worker drones a chance to prolong their weekends to 4 days. This enables us to take a few short trips - the first of these, over the May 1 weekend, was to the Erzgebirge region at the German/Czech border, with plenty of forests to traipse around in. We didn't really DO anything much, but took really long walks and enjoyed the view. Swinging back home, we visited the stately Weesenstein palace.
Next up, a trip to the Baltic coast for the Ascension Day weekend.
