For those select few of you who have wondered how my life is going, here's a short-ish update... still looking for a job and oscillating between the joy of having my days to myself and the despair of failing to convert any job application into a job... not really able to fully enjoy my jobless days because of a major building project going up right next door, with all the attendant noise and dirt... lost an uncle, which makes this the first relative of that generation to go, not counting my parents who died nearly 25 years ago; also attended my first ever sea burial for this late uncle... feeling fine health-wise but unable to bring my weight down to where I want it to be, even after doing a couple of sessions at a local gym; still mulling whether to get a full membership... looking forward with somewhat mixed feelings to next week's vacation in France; yes it's probably going to be beautiful, but flying is more of a hassle than anything, plus I hate to be absent and maybe miss job offers that might be interesting...usually I love Autumn, but so far it's only been the downside with miserably cold and drizzly weather and much too early dark evenings... oh well, I hope I'm not sounding too annoyingly cheerful!
Here's a short poem to cheer you up
She loved the season known as autumn,
watched colored leaves dance until she cautumn.
