The average SGer is probably more familiar with Star Wars icon Carrie Fisher, but I have been a fan and admirer of her mother Debbie Reynolds since forever. We went to London 5 years ago to see her perform in what was to be her last tour, and I'll always treasure the signed picture of her she sent me many years ago. While she hadn't been all that well for a while now, the untimely passing of her daughter Carrie surely hastened her death. RIP Debbie and Carrie
Here's a clip of her, energetically performing a number from her film "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" which became so synonymous with her own up-and-down personal life.
