Isn't that what they say? I may have shared in a venting blog post or two how demoralizing my job has been lately, and that is still the case. So, when I was offered the chance to teach, as a sideline, a course in Psychological Assessment at another "continuing education" college here, I jumped at the chance. Or, "jumped" isn't the word, as I fretted over it a little bit - not having taught previously, and tasked with preparing the course curriculum in a mere 4 weeks' time (and in my free time at that). But, the positives won - it's a subject I love and enjoy, it will take my mind off my main job, and it will bring in bit of cash... and maybe, just maybe, it'll be an opening to work full-time at that other institution (a much more secure and better-funded one than ours). So, wish me luck! And don't worry if I'm not on here so often anymore.

Teaching is one of the most satisfying occupations there is. I'm sure you'll be good at it.
