Well that was quick. For those of you who read my lament over our poor old car, now in car heaven, we did not mourn too long and have bought a fairly young (2.5 years old) VW Golf which looks in every important aspect like this one (thanks, Wikipedia)... given Berlin's insanely long wait at the motor vehicles registration office, it'll be some two weeks before we actually have it though. Merely test-driving it felt like a quantum leap from the dear departed old vehicle!

Die Trauer um ein liebgewonnenes altes Fahrzeug schmälert sich enorm, sobald man im neuen Auto das erste mal gefahren ist, nicht wahr? ;) Ging mir genauso, also kein Grund sich zu schämen. :) Aber zwei Wochen Wartezeit?! Im Ernst? Das ist ja total absurd....

Zwei bis vier Wochen... es gibt in Berlin nur zwei Zulassungsstellen, und die sind offenbar total Land unter.
