Some of you may remember that I was in Lyon, France (with a side trip to Avignon) for about a week. As I sift through the incredible amount of some 2,000 pictures we took, I may post one or two more in a bit. I'll just pop in to say that we had a lovely time, and that Lyon is a fascinating city, with a great mix of the old and the new, of culture and nature, and also a very young city, with some 140,000 college students. One of the fun things about Europe really is that you can drive for a few hours, or fly for no more than 2 hours, and you're in a country that is very different from your own, with a very different style of living that manifests itself in many ways.
