i'm baaaaaack!
did you miss me?
i feel so much better. that was really what i needed. i feel like my old self again...the old self i was before moving back to wyoming...alive, vivacious, confident, beautiful, fun, all that good stuff! its amazing!
first of all, i want to say, i am blessed with the best friends alive!
they are always there for me and make me feel wanted. i feel truly wonderful.
its hard being in wyoming and having one friend...and then going to kansas city and not having enough time in 3 days to hang out with all the people who want to see me. it puts life in perspective...
speaking of perspective, today, i was sitting in a restaurant in fort collins watching people walk by (i love people watching). soon, i see an older man coming up to his truck across the street on a pair of crutches. he is missing his left leg. i watch him as he tosses his crutches into his back seat and then i notice that his left arm is also gone and has been replaced with a prosthetic with a hook. i continue to watch him close the back door and hop to the front door and up into the driver's seat and then drive away.
when you think your life is bad, sometimes you see other people who must have felt the same way at one point and you realize that you are not alone, you are not the only one with hardship, and that you can survive.
